ถ้าใครติดตามฟุตบอล คงต้องรู้จักสโมสรบาร์เซโลน่าเป็นอย่างน้อย
สโมสรที่ว่ากันว่ายิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก เจ้าบุญทุ่มบาร์ซ่า แห่งแคว้นคาตาลันย่า
และถ้าใครอ่านข่าวบอลอยู่เรื่อยๆคงรู้ว่า บารซ่าล้มเหลวมาในปีที่แล้ว
ในช่วงซัมเมอร์นี้บาร์เซโลน่าเลยได้เปลี่ยนโค็ชจาก แฟรงค์ ไรจ์การ์จ เป็น เป็ป กวาร์ดิโอล่า
และได้ประกาศว่าจะโละนักเตะหลักๆหลายๆคน โดยเฉพาะสามเสือ เดโก้ เอโต้ และโรนัลดิญโญ่
แม้ว่าสามคนนจะี้เป็นขั้นโคตรเทพ เล่นบอลเหมือนเกิดจากตัวอีดิตใน winning แต่ก็โดนประกาศไปแล้วว่าไม่อยู่ในแผนการทำทีมในอนาคต
ทีนี้ปัญหาก็คือ ทุกทีมอื่นๆย่อมอยากได้นักเตะแบบนี้ไว้ครอบครอง
แต่ก็อีกนั่นล่ะ ทุกทีมที่จะต้องจ่ายค่าตัวแพงหูฉี่ เพื่อให้ได้ตัวหนึ่งในสามคนนี้
ทีนี้ทำไมผมถึงไม่คิดว่าสามคนนี้จะย้ายทีมได้ในเร็ววัน???
ผมขอวิเคราะห์ดังนี้:
ประการแรก มีทีมอยากได้นักเตะแบบนี้หลายทีม หากทีมไหนเริ่ม bid ก็จะมีทีมอื่น bid สู้ สู้ไป สู้มา เข้าเนื้อทั้งคู่
เพราะฉะนั้น การจะ bid ไม่้ให้เข้าเนื้อ ต้อง bid ตอนตลาดใกล้ปิด เพราะตอนนั้น Barca ได้เท่าไหร่ก็ต้องรับ
ถึงตอนนั้นนี่ การเกทับไปมาจะไม่เกิดซ้ำซ้อนกัน ราคาไม่เฟ้อ
ประการที่สอง บาร์ซ่าพลาดมากที่ออกมาประกาศว่าสามคนนี้จะโดนโละ
ถ้าคุณเป็นคุณซื้อ ของที่คนขายบอกว่าจะต้องโละแล้ว เขาจะเอามาลดราคาตอนไหน!!!!
แน่นอน ก่อนที่ร้านค้าจะปิด
ฉะนั้น ทีมทุกทีมที่อยากได้ัสามคนนี้จะรอจนตลาดซื้อขายนักเตะใกล้ปิดแล้วค่อย move
เพราะฉะนั้น กระต่ายน้อยฟันธง!!!
สามเสือบาร์ซ่าที่ไม่เป็นที่ต้องการ ไม่ย้ายทีมในเร็ววันนี้แน่นอน เว้นแต่ว่าจะมีทีมเงินหนา...แต่โง่ ทุ่มทุนสร้าง

Don't the teams already had their valuations of each players in mind? So, regardless of the bidding duration, each team would not give up unless their valuation is met. I think if the information is updated quickly (which is possible given telephone and internet) it doesn't matter when bidders start bidding rigorously. In the end, the team with the highest valuation should win.

Yea, but here we are under bidding with deadline situation. The bidding cannot go past the deadline.
Same situation as ebay. If all the bidders want to avoid the bidding war, with the hope of paying less than their valuation. They all shall bid late, just before the deadline. Do they? Your textbook theory shall be modified a bit na.
What gross happens to you? Seems like you really enjoy the grossy thing na.
Right.. so, if you were bidding on ebay, when would you stop bidding?
When your valuation is met, right? This is regardless of when you start bidding, right? The same thing happens to other bidders. Everyone stops bidding when the maximum amount they're willing to pay is met. Therefore, in the end, the highest bidder would win. The amount he pays is likely to be just a bit more than the valuation of the second bidder.
Ahh.. German won.. The Turkish played well, tho! Bravo.

I'm not talking about the whole bidding process.
I only point out that the bidders, knowing that bidding war would hurt them all, will try to start bidding late.
Please argue against this point. Tell me why this is not making sense. Why they would not benefit from the chance of paying less then their valuation if they try to start their bidding late?
